I don&#8217;t know how I could have missed this over the years, but since Margaret and I exchanged a few <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doonesbury.com\">Doonesbury<\/a> books this Xmas, I had occasion to steep myself in Doonesbury for a while and this thought finally percolated in.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever noticed the eerie similarity between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peanuts.com\/comics\/peanuts\/meet_the_gang\/meet_marcie.html\">Marcie<\/a> (of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peanuts.com\/\">Peanuts<\/a> fame) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doonesbury.com\/strip\/thecast\/honey.html\">Honey Huan<\/a> of Doonesbury?<\/p>\n<div class=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"pics\/marcie.gif\" border=\"1\" alt=\"Marcie\" \/>   <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"pics\/honey.gif\" alt=\"Honey Huan\" \/><\/div>\n<p>How progressive of Marcie&#8217;s parents to adopt an Asian baby way back in 50&#8217;s.
