This just in from my buddy Mike:

Just goes to show: if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it. It applies to firearms, it applies to motor vehicles, it applies to drugs. Leave it to the professionals. 😆

Okay, that’s just *too* funny, partcularly the co-announcer snort-snickering-laughing at the end. I was hoping for a Food Fright from you in honor of the day, but that clip is even better.

I so wanted the anchor to turn to the off-camera snickerer and say “you snorted!” 🙂

“In honor of the day”? ❓

Oh, oh, because it’s Friday the 13th, gotcha. I was trying to tie today into food somehow and it wasn’t happening. 💡

I had a similar experience when I first started working on the ambulance. We got sent to a call (an EMT call, not a nurse call) to take a young gentleman who also thought he had overdosed on marijuana to the hospital. The kid was MAYBE 16 or 17 and baked out of his mind, but alert, walking and talking. He was sure that he had overdosed though, because he was feeling very dizzy, was having trouble thinking and his mouth was really really dry.

some people are just unfamiliar with the concept.

That just cracks me up. What did this little ninny think would be the effects of taking a recreational psychoactive: mental clarity, excellent coordination and minty fresh breath? Take a fucking Altoid and hit the oxygen bar, kid. 🙄
